Long auction list of 180-odd, including as many as 27 Zimbos. However, each side has only a couple of overseas slots to fill, so I actually doubt if any of them will get a contract.
Quite frankly what blind optimism persuaded the like of Neville Madziva to put their names forward is beyond me...

1. Massive props to Madziva for his efforts the other day. Very heartening to see a youngster from Kwekwe putting himself on the map. Hopefully he can push on from this to win many more games for Zim.
2. Even now, as a much improved cricketer with a larger reputation, Madziva has 0% chance of playing in the IPL, let alone his chances in 2012. So my point stands

And I still agree with you. It was blind optimism then and will be now. And I despise IPL anyway, so won't feel bad not to find a Zimbo there...aydee wrote:2.
