Re: Bangladesh 20/20s
Would rather invest in a younger bowler than going back to larry. We saw what happened with ngarava, was given opportunities from an young age and is now arguably even better than blessing.
Re: Bangladesh 20/20s
If they're having warm up games you'd surely want to see all the probables and possibles on the field, not some relatives and some pet guys that some moron hopes will be good at some point to justify whatever coach punting them for 5 years?
Even if they've got a team in mind, which they clearly have, surely have the fringe guys playing some higher level games? I guess they don't want any nasty surprises

We all know Chamu and Larry gonna open the batting and bowling respectively, let's cut the crap
Re: Bangladesh 20/20s
If there's another Ngarava floating around, get him in the team. But which of these young blokes looks like him?Crastle_cog wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 5:18 pmWould rather invest in a younger bowler than going back to larry. I wonder that as of today. April 18, anyone believes Blessing is better than Richie?Crastle_cog wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 5:18 pmngarava, was given opportunities from an young age and is now arguably even better than blessing.
Richie has kicked on the last 12-18 months and I feel he would be at home in the 11 of most test countries outside the big 3, Nz and SA.
Also I got to lol at Craig Ervine coming at opening batsman of the emerging Zimbabwe team.
That young green shoot.

Re: Bangladesh 20/20s
Blessing spot is still guaranteed but he needs to do a little more than he has been. Ngarava is by far the better bowler at the moment. I want to see some A tours with maposa Macheka and newman nyamhuri bowling so we can blood more youngsters.
Re: Bangladesh 20/20s
Unless I have missed it or his injured, I would of thought Mavuta would have been back for these games.
Re: Bangladesh 20/20s
Wes scored 93 in the final game today.
