It's going to be a nervy Tuesday. I still remember every bit of that UAE game, I don't have the strength to go through it again.

I stopped watching after that 1st innings and that appears to be a good choice. If Evans has dropped catches then there us no way he is playing ahead of Chatara. This was his big chance and he seems to have messed up again.
Correct... this forum has a tendency to overrate mediocre white players, it's a trend going back years.
Really ? I think the opposite is true , Madhevere , Marumani , Shumba all mediocre imo

Have to have another go at this. Add up the runs scored on this scorecard. We're still waiting for our Lara. Until that happens the tendancy is to assume the next big batter is likely to be white, and its not just the white guys that have gone down this rabbit hole. Personally I still hold out hope for Wes and Myers. ZC will stop at nothing to make that happen, but its been a long haul with no definitive result.

Aside from Kaia and Marumani do we have any other domestic players that would do well at this level?

Jeez Regis' time has surely come and gone?
Campbell, Bennett and Myers

Jeez bud. Myers and Bennet are not here and Campbell will struggle at this level. Needs to dominate domestic, he's got some flaws to iron out. His brother has more ability with the bat. They're both good, just need to bang out some hundreds in domestic.

Let's not get into a Black and White discussion guys. Please stop it right here. It's about Zimbabwe cricket.

Evans deserved his place in the side today. It hasn't worked out well so if they play Chatara next game then I'm ok with it. If they still play Evans, that is also fine because sometimes you need a back a player. Moreover against SL it is tougher.

The bigger question here is who replaces Jongwe? Kaia or Marumani Or do they simply stick with Jongwe???... I'll surely go with Kaia, it's a no brainer for me, but you never know what the management thinks.
