Opening batsman as spinner allrounder, a great option to have. Shumba is a talented cricketer he will be differant with the ball if he works under good coach.

Any Zimbabwe pacer with such a killer instinct in last decade ? I think No. May be in 90s with the likes of Olonga & Brandish
I missed this, can anybody shed some light on what happened

They both looked good but there is a difference between Bangladesh and Pakistan for Zim expecially as Zim batters struggle against the really fast bowlers.
Just shut up ffs! Do not bring Pakistan into this match, Zimbabwe are playing against Bangladesh right now and not against Pakistan.
I think it’s a unfair comparison to bring up Pakistan in game we are playing Bangladesh, from what I have seen Kaitano has looked solid in defence and does not look like he is about to edge every ball.

I am only comparing him to Prince, Kasuza our previous opening pair.

As for Shumba I think he will learn with time, he didn’t look at sea.

I personally think Shumba will benefit with play some games with Ervine and Williams.

That’s something the last generation never got a chance to experience.

Overall they both looked decent.
Don't tell me to shut up man. I'm not criticising him, he played wel. I'm just saying it's unfair on kasuza etc who played against Pakistan to be comparing him to them saying Kaitano is better than him after one match like previous comments have said.

He may well be but we need to see him over many matches to make the comparison. Even Taylor struggled against Pakistan, it was a different scenario.

You can't compare really compare after one match. Just watch him and say he is doing well. Kasuza started well too.

Good little battle between Taskin and Blessing. Taskin left a ball and during Blessing's follow through did a little tiktok dance move type action. Blessing immediately ran up to him and the two exchanged words for a few seconds with Taskin pushing his grill into Blessing's face as you can see from the pic.

To be honest BD pacers are not that great, compared to what we saw against Pakistan. There is nothing to fear here, only a lapse in concentration will get you out here. Stumps tomorrow, Zim 350-5 with BT and Regis not out!

Zimbabwe will avoid the follow on. Key for Bangladesh will be to bowl Zimbabwe out before the end of the days play. Will be hard work on what is now a pretty flat surface with just 4 bowlers.

I like to think they will. For some reason I can see Zimbabwe at 197-6 tomorrow staring down the barrel of a gun.
