Regis averages 37 in the last 3 years in ODIs, Ervine 41, Williams 50 and Raza 36. Interestingly BT was averaging 33 over the last 3 years with 1 century. Regis has really improved and BT was kind of over it. We saw the signs that he didn't care anymore but we just hoped he would soldier on

In a way losing Williams would have been more catastrophic than BT.

Imagine a BT there instead of burl who looks like a weaklink

To be honest you are probably right, his heart wasn’t in it anymore - pretty obvious throughout last year. I don’t blame him for feeling like that after everything!! Still absolutely love BT though, my hero.

Williams has been world class the last few years. Incredible.

Yes to me that is the most painful part. I really thought we were close to figuring it all out for once. BT added so much to the team and on a pitch like what we have seen today he would have dominated. I wonder if he has any regrets? Regis kicking on. 2 decent fast bowlers. Kaitano coming through nicely. With him in the team I think we would have been a competitive unit at full strength. Wes and Shumba need another 2 years for them to become reliable
