Tough call tomorrow morning. I say we bat for the extra 30 minutes. The bold decision would be to obviously declare. There are no points available here so I guess we are better off going for the win

Yeah, I reckon at this stage you go for the win. We've passed the point where SL can conservatively go for the win. For them to pull this off they'd need to take a few risks, and we'll need every over possible to bowl them out. Declare overnight I reckon.

I think we take 30 mins to tee off. Even 25 mins.

Otherwise we have a simple equation as BRMT stated.
Sri Lanka chases 354 in 90 overs at 3.66 am over.

Against an attack of:
Tiripano
Nyauchi
Mumba
Mutimbodzi
Raza

Imagine if this was an ODI chasing 300 against that attack. You’d back them.

Ya but again weather may be a factor tomorrow. We may not get in 100 overs.

I dunno, I reckon let them have a crack at it. Feels like a bit of an each way bet to tee-off for 25 minutes tomorrow, all we'll achieve is batting them out of the game while depriving ourselves of the chance to win the game.

3.6 isn't an easy RR to maintain on a day 5 pitch even with this bowling attack. Balls are already starting to stay low, there's a bit of turn out there.

If we lose from here, so be it.

It’s red ball and there’s no doubt that the pitch is taking a bit of turn. The satellite pic and a call to a weather expert at 9am tomorrow will surely be a key factor in making that call.

Yeah this is the answer in all reality.

I’m on the fence on this one. I say if play starts at 9:30, a 20 minute bash, get 35 quick runs in 5 overs then declare. With no rain that’s still 90 overs.

Then again, declare over night, make them try and chase a seemingly getable target hope they take risks whilst they are at it.

It is really tough to be the Zim captain right now. But after what have been through as fans this is some rare excitement going into a final day of a test match. We need an inspired spell of bowling from any one of the guys. Again, Angelo Mathews’ wicket will be worth 3
