We've struggled for a long time with cleaning up the tail when we start well with the ball. It happens all the time. Not sure what the players are being told in these situations. I don't understand why we change our tactics when we get into this situation too. We change up our bowling and go with bouncers and try to hurt the batters rather than going for the wicket.

Overall, we've done fairly well in our response. Kaitano could up his rate a little bit, but seeing as it is his debut, I can understand the nerves a bit.
To be honest that's when you need a leggie. Leg spinners usually clean up the tail without much fuss. Burl is key
Good point, seeing he eventually got bowled by the part time spin of Shumba

True. The management has to take blame for this. They have not done anything to fill the gap left by Cremer.

It also requires the pace bowlers to just be smarter in these situations. Tail enders will leave anything nasty, but put it on their stumps and they get troubled. We don't trouble. We try to force it.

Gee, first time hearing this guy speak after 3 years in charge. Sounds like he knows his work.

Kaitano is grabbing his opportunity with both hands. Impressive test innings so far, hid strike rate might be higher but he is providing a good anchor allowing Taylor to play aggressively

I think we are too hard on Zim spin bowlers. They cant all be Ray Price/Paul Strang on day one. Sakib is a world class talent and struggling too. We need to be payient with Ndhlovu, Mavuta and other youngsters.

Ryan Burl is a goid leggie, what happened to him?? Is Zimcricket punnishing him for the shoes thing?? If so, its a shame that Puma has more faith in our players than Zimcricket

Taylor is getting into the groove, scoring at a very brisk pace. And Kaitano at the other end is grabbing this opportunity with both hands by playing second fiddle. Mighty impressed with Kaitano. He seems very solid in defense against spinners.

100 partnership, BT is flying, Taku is well settled...surely we're due to lose 4 wickets in 5 overs?
