Can we get a first innings lead?
Windies seem to packed it in now, the runs are coming very fast now

Mavuta was dropped a few times.
When he goes itll wrap up quick.
Hope he's determined for a century.

Wicketless session, nice
Congrats to Ballance. Another masterstroke from Houghton to get him here. Also fine knock from Mavuta showing the others how to bat. he's a good chance to get a 100. Seems like once your set on this pitch it's very hard to get out (just don't get hit on the pads)

Jesus Dogg! There are many more lows than highs and we are never too far away from people predicting imminent demise. Of course people look for the positives. Agree we need bigger numbers. It is just never going to be that way.ZIMDOGGY wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 12:04 pmFor 15 years people have been looking at the postiives from losing tests.
What I have noticed is,
today it will be:
Innocent/Ballance/Mavuta.
Next test itll be:
Evans/Ballance/Tiripano
The test after:
Wes/Tsiga/Ervine
What we never see is consistency where these lists are 8/9 people long.
We have never been consistent.
Just something Ive noticed.

Test cricket is the best. Its induces all the emotions. At one point Zim we down and out of it now we actually working towards a first innings lead. Great batting from Ballance and Mavuta. Interesting to see how things move on from here but a draw would a fair result.

Kinda stupid way to get out but honestly brilliant innings from Mavuta, 56 very very crucial runs from that bat.
