The roaring crowds that packed both Bulawayo and Harare stands, seem to have undesrstood it. They applaude Williams and Raza which are all but black africans.
Please give those crowds new national stars (regardless the colour of the skin).
Watching this qualifier on TV I see that 99.99% of the crowd, which packed the stands, is made by black africans. White africans (at least from what I've seen on TV) were less than a dozen people. Some of them siblings of the players.

For me my honest issue with Chatara is that he can't bat. At this very moment he picks up more wickets than Evans which by definition actually makes him a better bowler but I just feel you need a number 9 who can bat a bit in the modern game, especially when you are playing a stronger team. This is why I would have picked him.
The other problem Evans faces is that as it stands, Jongwe is a better batsman and he also has a knack if picking wickets randomly so he is in all honesty the better pick against stronger teams and on pitches which don't offer much for the fast bowlers.
I would say Evans is actually in the same position as Wes and co where he has a lot of things he needs to work on
I don’t agree that Jongwe is better than Evans. He averages less than 15 with the bat and close to 40 with the ball if you take out that 5 for 6 against Afghanistan before they were a top 10 team.
Evans has a five for against India, and if he gets as many games as Jongwe can surely average more than 15 with the bat.

We will see. Time will tell. All I know is that Jongwe can bat. His biggest enemy is himself but if he was really motivated he would shock people.
