Great hitting, for sure. But this is about as bad as you could possibly bowl - there's no game plan here at all.

What exactly does our "bowling coach" do?
How long will Hondo actually be in that role? It's just a jobs for the boys scenario, same with Stuart and Prosper in their positions.

It is a wet ball to be a little fair.

Yeah it's stupid. I mean I know good players don't necessarily make good coaches, but what purpose does it serve to have Matsikenyeri as batting coach?
The players would get more out of some stalwart from Randomshire telling them about adapting to different conditions, not Mr FC Avg 30.

Our chances of chasing this hinge on BT doing something worthwhile for the first time this series and Chakabva not being a waste of space at the top order..

Nice to see Mumba pick up wickets.

Pretty uninspired captaincy by Williams too. First ball for the debutant and the field is all set back... at least put a bit of pressure on him to make his first run. It's obvious cue in the rack time.

Did you know Carl Mumba and Donald Tiripano have a higher ODI S/R than our opener Reggie? Was no other opener available? I'd take Wes and Kamunhukamwe up top! Reg is a test match guy.

Yep. Open with BT and K-Long, Raza at 3, Williams at 4. And just have fun with it, treat it like a T20. I expect we'll go down by about 200 runs.

Here's the pitch map since the rain delay, what utter garbage:

Jesus Christ guys the revised target is 342. Dead and buried. Time for 43 overs of batting practice. That is if we don't go all out in 25 and Tino Mutombodzi top scores with 21(56) and keeps his spot in the playing XI.
