I'm not watching this Live but Shumba is batting too slow here, not sure if it's good bowling, or tricky conditions, or the guy is simply stuck.

Hes hit some good shots straight to fielders. Looks comfortable.

Brilliant chip from Craig. I have the kiss of death but he's in good touch. Dunno how, he never plays or practices it seems

I'll be happy even if Zimbabwe compete well here. Sorry but my expectations are very low from this series.

Mine are a bit, when you don't play a top side for a while you expect there to be a big difference in standard to the associates, but its not there, the gap is small.

We can compete here.

I went to some agricultural school of repute in England back in the early 2000s, on a different degree course but the location was appealing. Guys from all over the commonwealth. Star man on the football team was some at the time 40 year old bald head from Trinidad  some of the best days of my life, still. Degree from England carries some clout but obviously you don’t start your real learning until you’re on the ground. Always the way.

KLong: meh, have him down the order.
Gumbie: solid and got potential.
Ervine: solid.
Shumba: solid  playing a measured knock.
