Regardless of the cause, something needs to be sorted out. The players are not going to play for free, nor should they. ZCFOutkast's racist assumption that black cricketers will play for free as they are happy to have something to do is sheer fantasy, backed up by the fact that we have lost even more black cricketers from the system over the last decade than white. They play for little-or-no money when they are just out of school, but soon enough the reality of life hits and they move on to a more stable career.

Hard to believe anyone buys this....My kids in Ireland go to the same (free) school as the kids of CEOs of multinationals, most Europeans go to the same hospitals as everyone else (they may be private but are usually not-for-profit charities), and anyone who thinks sport is dominated in the West by the well to do has had a reality by-pass, most professional sportsmen and women come from working class backgrounds.

Don't worry Dotski, we don't buy most of what he is peddling.

ZCF Outcast, quite the delusional reposte there on my frank comments. Perhaps rude remarks entirely amiss of facts on the ground is your expertise. Consider this then a lesson in balance and veracity.

Envious? Envious of what exactly? Bangladesh is a team that has been, for several years now, on a gradual but steady rise. We are no longer in a position to be envious of anybody. We also have a talent pool large enough that eventually we'll be permanently ahead of the likes of West Indies and New Zealand - who when we play in favorable conditions are almost level with right now. Also, don't confuse the BCB's management with that of corupt franchise owners in the BPL and DPL. The BCB has, to public knowledge, never failed to pay contracted players on time. In fact, the team has received raises on the order of 10-25% every year for the past several years. Most of our players are quite wealthy (at a 3rd world economic level) even without the BPL and DPL payments. Any talk of jealousy would actually be a projection of your feelings, IMO. If you want to harbor some feelings of cricketing superiority on the basis of a drawn series in your own conditions, please feel free to go ahead as eventually you're probably going to see us in our den. Good day!

I believe ZCFOutkast has gone back into exile, the admins will be able to confirm this.
