Is that so? Yay! We are the champions!foreignfield wrote:Only now do I realise that due to the strike this year's Logan Cup has one round of matches less and Mountaineers, by taking a first innings lead, are already CHAMPIONS!

Massive confidence booster that from Hami, and more than that, I'm happy for Tino Mawoyo to have gotten two big knocks too. He needed them to get some confidence back. Intriguing, he gets better when competition gets better. I want to see him blunt Steyn and Co. come July. It would be awesome to see them try everything and Tino calmly handle them with no fuss.Jemisi wrote:302 runs from Hami in this game!

That would be great. It may be that he just falls, but I can see them maybe getting frustrated by repeated playing and missing

Is this the last day we see the Rocks in action ??
Hopefully Richie and Roy can leave us with a fighting memory of the Rocks .....

Crazy workload. I hope it's nothing serious.jasonvtaz wrote:Panyangara yet to bowl in the second innings, maybe picked up an injury? He bowled 30 overs the first innings.

They are still in the race for the Pro50 final. If either Mountaineers or Eagles fail to win their last match they'll get there.jaybro wrote:Is this the last day we see the Rocks in action ??

Rocks 8 matches - 19 points
Eagles 7 - 18 pts
Mountaineers 7 - 17 pts
Rhinos 7 - 13 pts (need a bonus point win against Mountaineers and Eagles to loose)
Tuskers 7 - 12 pts (out of the race)
Rocks and Eagles have profited from the strike, though. Rocks thrashing a Rhinos third XI, and Eagles recording a walkover win at Mutare.

Apparently only Tuskers will play the full 8 matches, and the cancelled fixtures from December (Rocks-Rhinos, Eagles-Mountaineers) are neither made up nor recorded as draws.CrimsonAvenger wrote:Is that so? The morning resistance looks to be quickly ebbing.
