What we are now witnessing just puts everything that's happened when the senior guys where away into perspective. A lot of the batsmen are obviously not ready for FC cricket and, under normal circumstances, would be playing in their respective second XIs.

It is also testament to the well known fact that we haven't produced a classy batsman for ages, whereas from the same system the production line of bowlers is more or less intact.

Yes, the batting stocks are very weak. Losing so many guys so early is a constant drain on the talent pool both in existing and future stocks.
