NPL 2024
Re: NPL 2024
What is the mindset of the batsman in these games ? They have 45 overs to bat and can't get near it , very ordinary.
Re: NPL 2024
1st signs of cheating with Takashinga, they bring Chivanga back on after he has already bowled his full quota
the umpires would have let it happen but somebody spoke up from off the field.

Re: NPL 2024
I don't disagree. But also note it is winter - batting is very very difficult in these conditions for the first hour or two.
Also some of the grounds they are playing at. I'm very surprised they are paying NPL matches in e.g. Kadoma. That ground is a complete tip. The pitch must be a minefield. Several of these grounds are not highly curated high quality batting wickets.

Re: NPL 2024
I find it funny that Rangers are forced to wear the usual ZC supplied NPL playing kit. Their own Vigne kit is much nicer and much higher quality but they have been forced to use the ill-fitting, low-quality kit for all NPL sides.

All three matches today streamed on ZC App.

Re: NPL 2024
Strikers/Queens was a great match - Strikers had a great last-wicket partnership and I thought they were going to get them over the line, but finished with a bit of a mix-up and a direct hit run out.
It was great that the stream had a stump mic and and a outfield mic as well - sounded like quite a lot of watching spectators who were very into it. Big celebrations from the Queens players at the end.
