Ya, a guy averaging 30 and striking at 150 with the bat in t20i’s is nowhere near good enough.Mueddie28 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:56 pm[quote=Pat_Bee post_id=272788 time=1728118191 user_id=79152]

. See Akram in this side infuriates me, because he's not good enough and he's talking a place of a more deserving player
His dad must have made a donation to get him selected because he sure wasn’t picked on merit after an appalling series vs Bangladesh.

No bashing from me broski. That post was dripping in sarcasm. I’d have Faraz in my team solely for his batting. Maybe even would open with him. Strike rate is like 20 better than Raza

Still haven’t got the hang of that quoting shizz it’s probably not even that hard.

I see Dane has got another year with Notts, keeping situation is really up for grabs.
Re: ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier
Another year literally on the back of a blistering 30 in his only game of the season in the last week of the Champo good luck to the fella.

Re: ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier
Thats great on paper. Yet they didn't have an issue in giving Myers the red carpet treatment, even though he hadn't played any franchise. The stupidity here is that players like Jayden Schadendorff will never get selected for a franchise consistently, and when he invariably has a few bad games, he'll be dropped which, according this selection policy, will stop him progressing into national colours. Yet Madhevere, Marumani and Akram are selected despite consistently failing. It's a really really stupid and contradictory policy which screams favouritism. Campbell has his flaws, but he shouldn't be disregarded. He's made out like the new coach doesn't rate him and so he's now out in the cold.

- Basically says that NPL stats are not counted in selection.Marshmallow wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 2:52 pmhttps://open.spotify.com/episode/6GbWxB ... =copy-link

- Campbell was dropped based on concerns that Sammons has about his ability in T20/technique.
- Craig and Sean have been retired from T20s

Maybe Shumba also had similar conversations with Sammons. He was very quick to sign up with an aussie club side.
