Looks the SRC is about to get the football association banned as well. A real bunch of tactless idiots who overrate themselves and think they know it all. They never ever consider the politics.

As it stands they have been given until 3 Janaury to overturn the ban. The national team will be at an international tournament then and it will make global headlines when they are sent home. Their first mistake.

Unlike cricket, international football doesn't need a lot of money to operate but the problem is all the internationally based players can't switch clubs because of the ban. 90% of the decent footballers play outside of Zimbabwe. Mass retirements..Their second mistake.

It will all come crashing down again once the president asks his son-in-law why he is embarrassing the whole country. They never seem to learn.
