Wait how have we ended up with our super six matches being in Bulawayo?!?!
That’s a disaster I reckon. Not just because it’s more difficult for me to get there
The support will still be good but no way it will be quite the same level as we’ve seen at HSC. Also we have a worse record down there.

We haven't. Wikipedia is wrong, it currently has us as A2 instead of A1.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 10:16 pmWait how have we ended up with our super six matches being in Bulawayo?!?!

Also expecting Madande will be replaced in the squad too. It will be interesting to see who they bring in? With both Gumbie & Marumani already in the squad I doubt we’ll see another keeper drafted in.
Mavuta was unlucky to miss out originally, so he might come in but he’s hardly ‘like for like’. Other options would be Shumba or Myers who both played v the Shaheens.

While Mavuta was the closest to miss out, it makes slightly better sense to bring in Myers I think, in place of injured Madande. Of course, if he is available. If the toss up is between Shumba and Mavuta, I would go with Mavuta.

That's probably what will be written up in his CV

If they replace Madande doesn’t it have to be like for like? Eg a keeper? Can’t see any need to add another one in that case. I’m pretty sure they’ll give Marumani the gloves and bat him at 7 in the USA game at least

Is the USA game a completely dead rubber? Makes no odds whether we win or lose points wise or NRR?
