Strange. We tough it out against 90mph quicks, as soon as the slow bowlers come on, deer in headlights

We are so hopeless against spin. It's a real embarrassment. Something has to be done about this; whether it's bringing in Indian spinners to the Logan Cup, touring Sri Lanka for some matches against domestic teams, anything.

Taylor employs the sweep successfully against Shillingford :4: :4:
The reverse sweep was pretty unconvincing though, he played it well during the IPL though.

Ok, change of plan here from Taylor, premeditated. A tad dangerous, albeit there's less bounce here, but better than to sit back and wait for the deadly one.

3 starts for our top 4 now. Wonder when a test quality batsman will show up

IPL? :D

I think the frustrating reverse sweep attempts are meant to be passed on through generations of wicket keepers, to be brought out in the most unexpected situations. Flower timed them so well, Taibu pretty much swept everything that came his way for a while in his career. Taylor getting into the act now.

Shillingford has just bowled 2 balls there that pitched on leg, and spun well outside off stump quickly, and nearly took Ramdin's head off. Seriously impressive spin bowling, even the worlds best would struggle with that.

If we get out to those kind of balls, I'm not blaming the batters, I'm blaming Shane for being so damn good! How's he been hiding all these years ?!

An interesting stat came up a few minutes ago. Taylor's strike rate from the sweep shot is 333.33 in this innings.
