I just heard it got really heated. The last 4 Mountaineers thought went for 6 but was signalled 4 by the Tuskers fielder and upheld by the umpire and all hell broke loose. Took a while to calm people down to bowl the last delivery.
True left the game all square with one ball to go. Again. What happens when you draw the Super over. Coin toss.

Do we think we'll see much of the Welch brothers in the next squad, or are we expecting the same old shit from the selectors

How can one of them not?
Only Marumani, BB and Raza got over 10 all series.
Apart from a tentative 23 from Myers, who averaged less than 10.

Given our openers did the job for the most part, that is simply beyond appallling.

If one of the Welch’s averaged 9 next series, they’d be out 4th best batsman by this series standards.

Nick Welch and Ben Curran should definitely be part of the Afghan series. It will be interesting to see the side ZC pick for tests. I just don't see how Raza continues to defend Musekiwa when he was there with the the guy on 1 off 11 balls.

The longer they give our existing team the better it theoretically is for whoever comes next, if anybody. The chopping changing thing is disastrous for players. They've ruined more than half a dozen decent players by giving them just a few games over the years. If they do just one thing right they must stick with this plan. They've said they will, so let's see.

The rumour is that Curran is next in line.

I'll say it again, the weak links are Wes, Clive, Musi, Faraz. They're never going to swap them all out at the same time and i just think theyre going to continue to struggle against these top teams . Afghanistan is going to be just as tough, maybe more so. . There's mere days to improve against spin. You need someone smart to coach you how to play them then you got to practice for hours. Gotta find someone to throw for hours!
Dion is also going to struggle again. He's not enjoying the spin at all. The toughest two teams to come up against early in your career. That sweep of his is horrible, goes so hard and he's so frenetic. Just needs to relax a bit.

These mystery guys always get u with their wrong'un. especially Rashid!
You gotta watch the clips for ages to see how they bowl their variations. It's very tough. If you've got nobody in domestic like them its such a tall order. A left arm thrower in the coaching dept is so important as well.

Raza adamant this is our best squad.

BB did really well today. Wow his career has started pretty well, taken a lot of pressure off himself.

I'm still bemused about Maphosa. Are they raving about the batting or the bowling?

I really think they need to bring Williams back. He's a world class player of spin, and theres not many of them. Perhaps let him talk to the boys, he's a fountain of knowledge.

I still wonder which yard stick Raza uses to call the curent squad our best T20 squad. Surely there is room for improvement. It's a curse that the team won today they will use the some stupid reason of not changing a winning team now. The batting is clearly very very light. Nick Welch has played T20 for Zim. Why not bring him back. Curran has shown his abilities his experience will count for something in the Odis and the tests.

That "win" cost a lot of money
They're drinking 3 Ships tonite  and the $1 lapdancers, no current medical certificates

Raza is a big disappointment.

The yard stick of truth and facts. This squad is going all the way to the final in 2026.

Indeed, the future of Zimbabwean cricket shines with a newfound brilliance, thanks to this budding star.
Today, we celebrate his debut as a triumph for our sport, a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and talent.

This one dude is pushing for a job at ZC.
If one of my mates spouted this I'd have them checked in. It's just scary. Hard to describe what he's trying to do.
