Unless tomorrow is washed out a win or tie are our only ways out of this. Just can't see us 8-280 off 130.
And Meth on crutches.

This is what makes the runner rule (or lack thereof) so annoying. You have a guy with a legitimate injury completely disadvantaged because he can't have a runner.
I don't really understand why it was abolished in the first place. It wasn't really being abused that I can remember. And when the runner is in play the fielding side always thinks they're a chance of a run out.

Mark Taylor had something to do with it from memory - I think going back to the issues with Ranatunga in the 90s. But I could be wrong.

I think Vusi and Hami believe that we have to chase the total down by tonight.

Vusi obviously doesn't see the fine line between aggression and stupidity. He hasn't seen any of Shakib post tea, and plays that shot :(

In fact, I actually thought Hamilton was playing more risky shots than Vusi post tea, but Vusi stepped up!

The logic is that since a bowler can't perform if he is injured, why should a batsman get that privilege? And I agree with the decision to ban the runners. It was being abused (a lot) in the past decade.
