Aussies will lose. Question is by how much?

No doubt Maxwell is aware of NRR and all Aussies have to do is cut their loss to 100 runs or so and they should be fine - assuming they beat Bangladesh and SA beat Afghanistan.

However I can see Saf losing to this Afghan team which well then put AUS, SA, NZ in a bind and eliminate Pakistan outright.

Afghans should be included in the next WTC cycle. Way too much talent to leave on the wayside.

That was a great innings

Reminded me of the great Malcolm Waller when he scored 99 against new Zealand when we were way behind the 8 ball

Hard to articulate what "beyond imagination" may mean....

At a certtain point of the match cricinfo win predictor was steadily at 99% for Afghanistan.
Maxwell, alone, made the unbelievable race from 1% to 100%.

Really beyond imagination.

Wow just wow!

Greatest ever ODI knock in my book. The was a possible knockout match as well. Phenomenal. Simply superb.

First non opener to score a double hundred.

And Mujeeb dropped him on 32.
