They are in talks with South Africa and the West Indies for next year. Hopefully that works out.
Based on recent info or the FTP (which is subject to change) games we might get in 2022:
Home:
Afghanistan - 3 ODIs (Super League), 5 T20Is
Ireland - 3 ODIs (Super League), 3 T20Is
Bangladesh - 5 ODIs, 3 T20Is
India - 3 ODIs (Super League)
Netherlands - 3 ODIs (Super League)
West Indies - 1 Test, 5 ODIs
South Africa - Not in FTP so not sure
Afghanistan (Supposed to be in 2022 but will probably be played another year) - 1 Test, 5 ODIs, 2 T20Is
Ireland (Supposed to be in 2022 but will probably be played another year) - 1 Test, 5 ODIs, 3 T20Is
Away:
Sri Lanka - 3 ODIs (Super League), 3 T20Is
Australia - 3 ODIs (Super League)

Re: Future tour rumours
Our best bet will be the away series vs Windies and home vs SL. Hopefully we can snag 2 wins there. Tamim regaining fitness will be a huge boost. A draw in NZ or SA would also be an amazing achievement (probably a bigger achievement than a home win vs SL or an away win vs WI).Rajkumar Sharma wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 3:05 am
Not an intention to hurt Bangladesh, but it seems Bangladesh position in next cycle of WTC will be under scanner if they are unable to win a single test in present cycle. At present they are playing worst cricket with off the field issues ruling over performance
WI & SL wont be under scanner as they won some games in WTC
Tall ask though I will always dream lol.

^ we already knew that Colombo. See previous page
Re: Future tour rumours
I don't see any away series in that list but interesting to see 1 Test added to that Nov-Dec 2022 tour to make it a 2-Test series . I assume that 1 Test was the Test that was scrapped from the upcoming Jan-Feb tour.Rajkumar Sharma wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 6:48 amZimbabwe have home & away series against Afghanistan. Zim needs to win these test matches to make a statement for participation in WTCMr Twig wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 11:48 amI don't see any away series in that list but interesting to see 1 Test added to that Nov-Dec 2022 tour to make it a 2-Test series . Re: Future tour rumours
The Afghan schedule has a T20 WC in October/November. I think this is the one that should have taken place in Australia in 2020 but got canned. The one just passed was India's but got moved to Abu Dhabi.
So If I'm right (I do stand to be corrected), Afghanistan will be in Australia at that time. In December the BBL starts. So going on recent history, do we really see them going to Zimbabwe for a full series if it conflicts with their 20/20 mercenaries- again?

Tours & Fixtures isn't a worry, performance is of huge worry
Re: Future tour rumours
Must say I do agree. Although getting good game time is of importance to Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan it shouldn't be of primary concern, primary concern should be to win most of the games.Rajkumar Sharma wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 3:40 amTours & Fixtures isn't a worry, performance is of huge worry
First of all ZC must ensure that Fixtures are not a problem, team should not be starved of cricket at a time when teams play all year round. If Zimbabwe do well they will get plenty of games.
It's time to perform folks.
Re: Future tour rumours
Any update on Sri Lanka tour folks? Nothing seems to be coming out and the tour is not that far away.
