I think he's been suspended for a while for a suspect action.sloandog wrote:If we get out to those kind of balls, I'm not blaming the batters, I'm blaming Shane for being so damn good! How's he been hiding all these years ?!
Cleared now and probably within the 15 degrees, but with all these spinners in international cricket who would not have been allowed to bowl in years gone past, I'm just wondering if the Zimbabwean kids are too classically coached. Bend your arm and put some revs on the ball, kids!

I know he made his debut in 2010, but I mean before that. In his debut series against South Africa he was bowling balls just like he is in this series. Just surprised he's only really just come into international cricket.foreignfield wrote:I think he's been suspended for a while for a suspect action.sloandog wrote:If we get out to those kind of balls, I'm not blaming the batters, I'm blaming Shane for being so damn good! However, at Lunch we're 92-3....92 runs at Lunch is good, Taylor and Ervine look solid, but that number 3 makes the score look that little bit less attractive

92-3 pretty much the same position as the first game as our batting is deeper with Williams and Utseya for Regis and Price. Starts from batsmen again, but these guys have to kick on or it will be another 200ish effort. Shilingford is just making us look like strugglers. I can't imagine how we would look on a turner in the sub continent against a more accomplished bowler.

Vusi did get out to a naughty shot, but he showed some class and got us going. I think his 32 will be defined in large part by what comes next. If the middle order produces some decent scores, it will be glass half full. If we get rolled for 190...
