They're trying to make room for Madande AND Marumani, both keepers.
Bennett opens in T20, but he's middle order in this game? That means they want Maru to open with Joy, but that's not going to script and another good one from TK will put the cat amongst the pigeons.

I'm sure Dion is in so now what do they do with Wes, who has had the hopes of the nation on his weary shoulders from when he could walk? Where will they try him this time?

In a perfect world Craig and Sean should play, but they might not play them at the same time? It's clear they want to phase them out but they're not going quietly.

They will probably make it a shootout between Ryan and Jonno. I doubt they'll pick both. Jonno is going well but they'll hesitate to pick him ahead of a known quantity.

They haven't got a seaming all-rounder except Faraz?
Is he penned in along with Raza? Vezha next game?

They really want Musekiwa. He hasn't been bowling or he could be vying for that spot. They'll pick him as a batsman.

They'll keep picking Blessing and Richie.

So far they've got, if you also factor in today's good performances-

K-Long, Maru, Dion, Brian, Craig, Sean, Raza, Jonno, Faraz, Blessing, Richie.

But they really want Clive, Wes and Musekiwa in there somewhere.

To accommodate their chosen ones the potential casualties are one of Jonno/ Burl or both, Sean/Craig.

It's a dilemma for them for sure. Let's see what the next game brings. 4 bottles of Green Label will make it easier.

Ridiculous and deceptive to call these matches Regional when so many players are obviously playing for the wrong team. What qualification does Sean Williams have for Northerns, for a start?

You can bet there’ll be at least one guy picked for the Pakistan games who didn’t even feature in these regionals  good old ZC.

Got a feeling they want to have a stable top order and will go for something like

Gumbie
Craig
Myers
Williams
Bennett
Raza
Burl

That probably leaves 2 other batting options in a squad of 15. 1 of either Wes, Maru and Clive might miss out. Maybe they will name an extended squad to fit them in. I don't see Johno or K-Long making it if those 3 kids aren't in the plans to initially play.

So if there is a bias the hope will then be one of the kids who isn't Dion or Bennett scores big in the next game.

The "shock" might be Williams and Craig not playing together. I'm definitely not ruling that out. Something strange always happens

That’s no worry. Mawoza will spin some line about there being some awesome performances but unfortunately selections aren’t made based on form in matches played on a Thursday or a Saturday. Raza will be dubious but publicly back him and the local fans on Facebook will go back to debating whether national helmets should be allowed to be worn in franchise games

Carrying drinks/spare gloves/spare bats is a vital role, I’m not sure he can handle that kind of pressure though. Can just imagine old raza on 99*, splitting the toe of his bat, Wes bringing out the spare with the neon pink rubber grip instead of the spare with the lime green rubber grip and it all going downhill from there.

There is no better headache to have than a selection headache. Remember back in the day you could pick a Zim 11 in your sleep those guys got 150 plus caps some 200 even. Good thing we have a ton of games to play and am sure the team will sort itself out. I reckon whats important is to get players playing formats they are actually good at and player management. Ervine is in red hot form I dont think there is any debate there and Williams is Williams he walks into any Zim team.

When was that?
The only time Zim have genuinely fielded a compettive side was 1999 and even then, depth dropped off a cliff
