Right here is why ZC need to invest in about 10 merlins.

Maru would have struggled against that spin.
Bennett likes to sit back and play off the back foot and then double step now and then. It looks like he's got a good technique for these crazy good spinners, I'd love to have seen him play them.

Even with the white ball fixtures moving to HSC, I reckon the Afghan spinners are going to create absolute havoc with this batting line up. Appreciate this will be a hypothetical, how do we reckon the best domestic players outside this squad would fare? Knackers player of the series?

From 37 for 0 (in 5 overs) to 57 all out in the other 7 overs.

It's one of many collapses.
It's not individual skills to investigate, the issue is a losing team mentality.
Players lack of motivation; rather than discussing on which line-up to deploy, the question is how to hope in a win when there is not leadership, total absence of determination.

We may never know. I'm sure the coaching staff have done a fair bit to prepare them for this quality of spin.
Clearly not enuf though. A Merlin helps, that weird little side arm with that weird ball with holes that you have to read off the pitch also helps, but unlikely need a guy that knows how to throw it.
Obviously if you don't know which way it's going sweeping and reversing is the main option, but you have to be able to cover the bounce obviously. Something to stop the guy settling on his length.

I think Salamander has brought his analyst and replaced our guy.
They should also be sending the clips and the analysis to the franchises, but they don't.

I'm not sure our franchises even have clips and analyses of our local guys? Need a couple of laptops obviously.

That lap over your shoulder is a really good one to perfect. That throws the bowlers badly.

57 All out is not a good result. The guys are lazy to run, they just do 1 run and seem not committed. Msekhiwa good in fielding, very hardworking. We have to be serious on batting, this is disheartening. We can't just come to watch some kind of a walk over match...please

That ball that got Musekiwa was a 6 or 4 ball back over the bowler's head that he went back to by mistake and turned it into a good ball.

Can't recall Madande's dismissal? I'm sure it was that really fast and uncontrolled slog sweep that he top edged? Its a go to of his under pressure.
