IF only someone could have stayed with him.
IF Chigumbura hadn't played that weak shot.
IF our batting was stronger all round....we could have done better :(

Hope hammie brings up his century

true but the batting wasn't the biggest issue really, the bowling was not the same as the first test ... the batting has actually been reasonable (nearly got a 4th test century maker in Elton, Mutambami showed a bit of guts first innings ... perennial opening problem remains completely unsolved but the lower order also contributed...

well done Hami!!

Well done Hamilton, match top scorer, and what a way to bring up the hundred! At least something to cheer about...

Have always said Chigs was the stupidiest captain we ever had, no brains at all. Cant be trusted to chase down a total successfully, can never be trusted to do a rear-guard; he's another five matches away before the exasperation with him starts again.

Like the look of young Mutumbami though, looks very smooth when playing with his shots. Promising future!!

Hamilton Masakadza has just bought himself some time with time and goodwill with that knock. Vusi must be discarded to Intercontinental Cup - a dogged and lesser talented Tino is worth two of him, no heart at all.

Sean Williams for Malcom Waller in the next test. Pity - we could have done with his commitment - wish he had a more solid defense.

Cremer's place can no longer be justified; not even his batting will save him now. My feelings are Raymond Price will play the next test and either of the young spinners Tino Mutombodzi and Natsai Mushangwe are but a few matches away from debut
