When exactly did I say Raza was the reason we lost? This is why I hate debating here sometimes. It's like people want to create divisions. What do Hammy Elton and Prosper have to do with Raza performing poorly? Did I not go at Regis? Did I not defend Jarvis.smh this becomes tiring sometimes.

From the first ball on day 1 some people were already complaining. I personally don't care who is in charge, I just want to watch cricket. I also know nobody here is going to get rid of them so what's the point of crying everyday about it? I am not a ZC representative. Mawoza and Sibandaa are freely available to attack on twitter instead of me. I make no moeny from this so I honestly don't care. We could beat Australia 2-1 in Australia and the same people will still be going on about Mukuhlani. Ridiculous.

Difficult thing with being in Aus is waking up and finding like 15 new pages of unread things. I picked out those I did read properly.

My whole point from the back and forth with me and BRMT was to avoid this situation. Just from day one alone, we could have been 60 ahead by now safely.

Meaning get 100+ we would probably have saved the game.

Go slow tactics just don’t work over 5 days. Not with zim because we WILL collapse.

If anyone was bothered to read my history form last few days, I described this very scenario.
This was exactly the point I was making earlier. The test is not won on the last day, it is won in each different moment. By Regis and Donald opting to block everything, SL knew they were not going to play shots, so they could crowd the batsman and constantly attack. This puts pressure on the batsmen. You need to put pressure on the bowlers. This is why that slow run rate in the first innings cost us a bit, because SL knew that with a few quick wickets in that innings, they would still have us at a fairly low total.

This is because people expect someone playing t20 and t10 cricket to come play 1 FC game and suddenly spend time at the crease. If I was ZC I would start refusing with NOCs during our domestic season. The 1 FC game he plays he was attacking too. Something has to change if we are to ever improve. Yes our Logan cup isn't the best but spending time out there is invaluable. It's not a surprise that the guys who were willing to spend time at the crease played a few rounds.

That being said BT and Williams did chip away at the lead which is good because pretty soon after tea extra runs will mean extra overs for Sri Lanka to bat. They kind of played a role.
I don't think Raza has changed his game in any way. He has always been a busy player regardless of the format. You can't ask players to spend time at the crease in domestic competitions when they are only playing 1 game or none at all. You also can't be issuing NOC's when the domestic comp is an utter shambles. You can't be making these demands unless the actual problem is fixed.

So Jarvis is untouchable on this Forum?, everyone else gets to cope some slack, but you can’t touch Jarvis?

On a side note,I don’t think it’s personal, I usually like to opposite jinx him but each time I jinx him he gets out quick and easy😉
No, Jarvis is up for scrutiny but he is not a batsman. Hence, no one expects him to hang around or score big. He is a bowler, and probably the best one we have. You know very well who should be up for scrutiny.
Yep,
Sometimes you are able to verbalise a little bit better the point I try to make.

Attack IS sometimes the best defence.

The key is to be cautious but unpredictable. Cricket is often like Poker. When you realise someone is stonewalling, you can accurately predict they will fold to anything but premium, so you can chip away at them and slowly set a tactic to chip away at their pots and when they do get interested in playing you fold. You starve them like a python. The same works in batting because there’s very few that can stonewall day 5 for a day with 6 counts round the bat.

And an hours stonewalling can be caught in reply by literally two overs. Time is almost meaningless, without runs and rain.

   Who’s the legend who’s created the ZCF twitter page?! Who ever it is has just taken a massive swipe at Frank Mawoza! It’s made my day
Is it you?
That comment sounded like Sloandog or jaybro.
Hahah that 1st line about an average comment from an average bloke is definitely something I would say, I often call out people with the 'average bloke' sledge.

But no it's not me, I am on twitter though I stay away from commenting on Zimbabwe cricket related tweets, I usually focus my attention on Rugby League as I do some writing for a Rugby League Website, I also tweet about Tottenham and sometimes Australia Cricket
I’m curious to read some of your articles.
I’ve always wanted to do something like this.

I have more opinions on NRL than Zim, and usually I just get banned after trolling the Kennel and League unlimited.

@TapsC

I have want to be clear, I'm not attacking you. I'm just engaging in discussion. Open and honest two way discussion.

You did say Raza should be held accountable and he failed, and should be dropped. Hammy and them come in to it because you can't have one rule for one person and another rule for another. Hammy has never stood up for any player when the fight was taken to the board. Raza has. Hammy was always undroppable regardless of how poor he played. I recall getting a lot of stick for suggesting he be dropped. So I'm merely stating, if you want to treat Raza a certain way, then you need to do the same to the others.

I was merely responding to your Raza posts, nothing else. I've never called you a ZC muppet. I've said your comments are bemusing at times, but never a muppet.

The proteas are staring at another innings defeat here.
I’m predicting 3 English batters get hundreds.
It’s a matter of time before Buttler rattles off a quick hundred, and Curran is due as well, never mind Root, Pope and Stokes. This is going to be a beat down.

How average do Hendricks and Paterson look..? Honestly is this the best SA can produce? Get Bokako in there or Nandre Burger for the left arm option. At least they can both click up to 145kph!
I’m annoyed they’ve just brought the black poster boy back in opposed to giving Keegan Peterson a Chance..
