I will admit I was wrong. I wrote off the Aussies at the beginning of the tournament but I guess I underestimated how the length of this tournament gives teams time to regroup and figure it out.
I think the only thing worse than bottling a qualifier at home is bottling the actual world cup at home makes me feel a lot better. I feel for SA though. I really think they would have won

Sa winning the rugby and the cricket would also have been too much to stomach. I was rooting for NZ.

Been a thrilling final to be fair, one of the best. India looked doomed at the half way point, looked might they get back into it with the shackle draggers 3 down for not many. Head came out literally silenced the crowd and made a ton on a blatantly doctored pitch. Cummins choosing to bowl first too yo. That looked to be the worst decision ever at the time when India were off to a flyer going at 10’s.
