we won't loose by an innings but loosing by less than 10 wickets would have been nice …..

Never underestimate the power of the Zimbabwe Collapse™. We've gone from 1/98 to 5/114.

I wouldn't be celebrating avoiding the innings defeat until we have a lead of 1. ;)

141 and tea are both looking a ways off at the moment.

We need one partnership here - 1. Get past the 200 and into Day 5.

I'd be content making it to tea at the rate we are going.

This is a chance for Williams and Mutumbami to make a statement. For Williams that's probably a century, for Mutumbami even a 50 would secure his spot for the foreseeable future.

Probably the best case scenario right now is a lead of about 100. It won't be enough to win the match (even if we gave the bowlers something to defend, say 180... SA's chances would still be about 99%), but it might be enough to take a few wickets and lose by 8 instead of 10.

Time to start Operation Avoid Follow-On. From 98/2 - 125/7, 4-days undone in an hour.

it is one thing to have a collapse - we realistically had to have one at some stage against SA. But we have to arrest the slide.
