Tuskers 162/6 (Horton 71, S Masakadza 1/20).
Re: [Series Thread] Stanbic Bank Zim Twenty20
Team Meth finishes with 162/6 with KO Meth scoring a quickfire 33 not out off 17 deliveries. Let's hope he gets a good shot with the ball.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Rhinos 148 all out.
The maths is simple: Rhinos win, they go through to the semis; they lose, and Mountaineers go through instead. Wouldn't have thought 148 would present the Tuskers with too many problems, but we'll see...

Re: [Series Thread] Stanbic Bank Zim Twenty20
Just watched the Rhinos innings; Taylor looked very good for his 61 but it was a lone hand really.
Meth bowled well for the Tuskers, today is the first time I've seen him bowl for a couple of years so it was a good chance to look at his action again. He doesn't seem to have a great deal of pace but possesses a good slower ball and yorker. I can understand why so many people want him in the national team, I don't know if he will get a chance in Bangladesh but he should probably get a run at some point - perhaps the next home series.
In the other games, good to see Chigumbura getting back into some form. He still needs fix his bowling, he's required as an allrounder. Ryan Butterworth is maybe coming of age in this tournament? In the dark ages of 2006 or 2007 he was pretty unlucky not to get a run in the Zimbabwe team (if I recall he played one Zimbabwe Provinces game and got dropped). Perhaps Zimbabwe will start picking specialist T20 teams from now on, if so Butterworth and Sikander Raza will probably be looked at.
In fact, if he keeps up his current form (and a century or two in the one-day competition would help too) Sikander Raza might be a smokey for World Cup selection just as Friday Kasteni was in 2007.
