Massive win for the UAE and an equally critical loss for Namibia. USA and UAE appear to be set to qualify for the WCQs.

Namibia will be gutted, at one stage last year they looked like favourites to even finish 2nd or least 3rd in the Super League 2 table and avoid this Play offs altogether and now they are almost certain to miss out from the Qualifiers. That's sad for Namibia, they will retain their ODI status though.

Canada may not make it to the Qualifiers but will surely regain their ODI status from PNG.

... And looks like South Africa are all but through to the World Cup... WI now officially into the WCQs.
I think Canada can very much still make it. If they can win against a weakened Namibia and low on confidence PNG we might see a 3 way tie at the top. USA have a great NRR so it comes down to Can vs UAE.

Very happy that SA are closer to qualifying, mostly for our own sake. Unless Ireland do something mad and win 3-0 vs Bangladesh I think?

I’d much rather face Sri Lanka and WI than SA

Going to be very hard for Namibia to qualify now I'd say.

Will need to beat Canada and hope results go their way.

Feeling sad for them . Were almost certain before Nepal did the unimaginable and then to lose 4 of your best players before this crucial tournament

They have themselves to blame. They themselves lost multiple times to Nepal and have away crucial points. They have been very poor after that T20 WC loss against the UAE.

I don't talk much about it . Probably my bias towards Namibia made me say it

A fair amount of the Namibians are Saffers if we are really picky about it!
