No clear winner in this session for me. Our spinners leaked too many at the end but I guess that is expected
There is no way Windies will be happy with that scoreline, whereas we are sitting decently. We didn't put them to the sword but we are ahead.

Zim won the session. The aim from here should be to have them 4/120 - I hope Jarvis/Mpofu come out firing after lunch, both are hitting mid 130s. In fact I think Mpofu might have been a bit quicker.

Great first session Jarvis bowled beautifully but his pace was early 130s as his quickest ? Seems to have matured a lot and bowled the 4th stump line nearly every ball , mpofu deserves some credit as he held his end beautifully and deserved a wicket. Mire learnt very quickly and congrats on his first test wicket ! Right now another quick would be perfect but I feel
Cremer will be very dangerous come the 2nd innings , he was landing them very nice and asking questions. Raza is a odi bowler used to chew up overs not a test standard bowler one bit . Also vusi sibanda would have to be the most idiotic commentator I've heard in a very long time , he made zero sense and wanted to talk about himself getting back into the team at one stage in which holding had to cut him off , was emberassing :) anyway great start
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Yeah Williams is a better Test bowler than Raza. I still don't know why golden arm didn't get a bowl.

Jarvis does look like a much more mature bowler now, although I too was disappointed that most of his balls were low 130s. I thought in England he'd have developed more pace, not less.

Bobby did quite well. Can't fault him. Very tight and he had a threatening moment or two.

Mpofu was probably the pick of the bowlers, even though it was Jarvis that got the wicket.

Jarvis is exactly what I expected. Really impressive control but slightly down on pace. I question Cremer’s bowling changes and field settings quite often. Why bowl Raza ahead of Williams? I don’t get how Raza has taken wickets in the past, he looks like a Club bowler. That delivery of Mire’s would have beaten anybody.

Jarvis bowling low 130s with control, seam and a bit of shape will cause plenty of problems for opponents.
