From what i have seen so far in this tornamant there are 3 players who have been the standout
Reza - Ease him in International T20's and then look at him for the 50 over game
BUtterworth - T20 Specialist must be in the next squad
Nicolson - I like him, good pace and must go to Bangladesh

Rain stopped play - Tuskers 43/1 after 5.2 overs (Coventry 27*, Horton 12*) - if no further play, Tuskers win and Rhinos are out of the tourney.

Geez is Coventry an exciting player or what! I still want to see him in the ODI team, he can take a game away from a team. Hopefully he goes to Bangladesh in December.
It was good umpiring today; a good common sense approach that seems to be lost in international matches (ie. 2007 World Cup final). Tiffin and Taps held off on calling for the covers until the 5 over mark to ensure that the match had a result.
A few things from the commentary, Doug Higgins is the Harare Sports Club and Country Club curator. Any relation to Dylan Higgins I wonder? Would have to be I imagine, there are more "cricket families" in Zimbabwe than any other country in the world. And Dean du Plessis mentioned his late brother? That is very sad, I didn't know his brother had passed away. I remember reading that his brother taught him about cricket; he used to play First Class games domestically.

Coventry dropped Taylor early but made up for that by his breezy UNBEATEN knock which negated the rain scare and kicked Rhino's out. Hoping for the match to resume so that he becomes the highest scorer of sixes as well as join the top 5 highest run scorer

Chigumburas new found form in the 20/20 with the Bat is a godsend, With the banga tour coming up it was good that he got some confidence back into his cricket even if he will be playing 50 over in banga as opposed to 20/20 form is form

Thats what Chigs does when he is not under pressure, no captaincy. Go rocks, Go.jimbo wrote:Chigumburas new found form in the 20/20 with the Bat is a godsend, With the banga tour coming up it was good that he got some confidence back into his cricket even if he will be playing 50 over in banga as opposed to 20/20 form is form

CricInfo showed Horton as Tusker's skipper though Ewing is playing. Whats the scenario?

Indiscriminate batting from Mashonaland. What are they doing? Not that I'm complaining though...
