Hi, I am a 21 year-old from England and am part time county cricket writer for cricketworld.com. I also write their Player of the Week feature at the moment. I obviously support England as my first team, but Zimbabwe is a close second. I have followed Zimbabwe cricket for a long time and for some reason remember Doug Marillier in particular as being a thorn in England's side when I was growing up (although I am not sure if there is any truth to this!).
I have followed Zim domestic cricket closely since the introduction of the franchise system and am looking forward to seeing how Kevin Kasuza in particular progresses over the next few seasons. From the scorecards he looks a star.
I am really looking forward to being part of this forum and hope one day to visit Zimbabwe for myself.
Thanks.

Re: Introductions
I'm Yorker, born in Zimbabwe but currently at a university in South Africa. Well, I've always loved cricket but didn't follow it much as I was more of an academic.
The return to Test Cricket re-ignited my passion for cricket and since the September 2011 Zim-Bangladesh only Test. As my love for the game improved, I discovered the facebook profile named "Cricket Zimbabwe" administered by Pfumodhema.
Here, I learnt a lot about the game and the domestic FC league and I became an occasional participant on their discussions.
I later realised the majority of the the guys who comment have a very shallow knowledge of the game. I've then resorted to surfing the Net, including Wikipedia just to learn more about cricket.
I've been a guest browser since Novermber 2011. I think this is the ideal place for domestic and national team cricket.
