It would have made some sense to have the a teams play off against each other as well on tour.

What I really find funny is the randoms on social media who aren't members here, and are quick to disparage ZCF as a terrible racist awful useless forum, but lift info from here and pass it off as their own and take the credit - like they have with the fixture list here haha.

ZCF ftw.
Who does this?
i dont pay alot of attention, but i have always found the latter to be true, people use it as a trove of info

Maybe not so much recently but 2-3+ years ago the forum had a (I think unfair) reputation as being full of racist white dudes. I find some of the social media people way more racist whereas most on this forum are reasonable and reasoned.

Either way they all nick all the info from here

If you don't agree with someone it's easy to dismiss by pulling the card.

Just watched Wes lose his wicket to this guy O'Connor who looks really good.
Looked like he was getting a bit squared up almost every shot? Maybe some away swing?
Not moving his feet either, which is the first thing to go wrong when it's swinging.

What sort of players is this MCC side made up of? Minor county sort of level?

Think so. I see Matthew Pardoe is playing and he spent some time in Zimbabwe and playing County cricket.

If it's the MCC YP then it's guys that MCC have identified as having real ability, but for whatever reason not been picked up by a County.
They get 2 seasons and they play in the Two's circuit and the Counties get a look at them, and in some cases a second look. It's a good program.

If it's an MCC pick up side then they just pick a squad from whoever is available from what I can gather.
