Ervine and Williams will have to reevaluate their choices. They can be a part of the Test set up, although Zimbabwe don't play it that often, but there is no way I see them being a part of the 2027 ODI WC Squad.

I think a lot of it has to do with just being mentally exhausted. Williams has been playing for ages. Raza and Craig got into the national team a bit later but the T20 money is obviously motivating Raza more.

Williams plays about 20 games a year, including FC stuff. No a massive workload. If is was any more he would gave been done by now.

Ya, williams made his ODI debut like almost 20 years ago. that’s a long old career by anyone’s measure. The things he’s seen and the nonsense he’s put up with must take its toll at some point.

48 for Ngarvara, shame he missed out on a half century, Needs to take his batting more seriously. 205 is pathetic after that start, decent wicket as well.
