It's a problem. I was thinking that might be one reason they've persisted with Moor, so that he can get some practice and become a decent enough choice in the ODIs where Regis has never flourished. I kind of hope that might be the rationale, otherwise I don't think there was much justification for not bringing in Regis for one of the other batsmen in this match.Jemisi wrote:Regis in tests but what to do in the shorter formats?

The trouble is that a Twenty20 match and a Test are two entirely different animals, bring an 18 year old in and he drops a couple of chances, what happens? the jackals are on him straight away and may well destroy his career before it's even startedbrmtaylor.com admin wrote:To be fair, from his one game to date Murray has shown some promise. I think Cremer will get Herath out soon.
I agree about Herath, if he keeps watching the scoreboard he may well hypnotise himself seeing the numbers go round so quickly and miss a straight one

Yeah I'm not saying he should have played this game or anything. But if it's another year before we play a Test and he has a decent FC season then why not. We desperately need a young talented batsman coming through the ranks.
It's a worry that we've got no Taylor's or Chigumbura's coming through, let alone the next Andy Flower.

From 4/112 to this is mighty disappointing.
How nice would it be to have Ray Price and Graeme Cremer bowling in tandem?

Taibu suggesting Moor is a short term option selected for his batting

Taibu and Streak are actually giving reasons for some selections and non-selections in the squads and XIs. Totally unheard of transparency finally in Zim selections in eons

Good for Tiripano, the workhorse of the team.
