Don't know why our games are in Bulawayo but from what I hear all the pitches have been changed to have more pace and bounce. ICC is the one in charge not us. So I assume even picking venues must have been done by them not us. This might be why they haven't really been playing 2 spinners and why this recent series might not matter. Afghanistan will have to play 3 pace bowlers too if the conditions favour pace. Our 8-3 becomes very risky because they haven't been bowling Mire and Hami. They might have messed up on that part

Yes I’ve been wondering why they haven’t bowled at all, they’re both decent medium pacers. There’s a lot of stuff I don’t understand. Everything smacks of panic.

Advantage Zimbabwe & European Sides if pitches have grass with some bounce, but if the pitches are slow, spin friendly advantage with the Asian Side and with the Windies.

I tend to think it's the latter.

Total Odi Wickets fell in Queen's Sports Club, Bulawayo - 445

Pacers taken - 284 wickets, Spinners taken - 161 wickets

Most of the pacers were from the period 1992 - 2002

Wickets taken by spinners are mostly after 2010, therefore the track now provides massive help to the spinners

I wanted to know how preparations are happening in Zimbabwe.

How much publicity is happening? Will the people turn up at the venues? Is there excitement?

Is the new government taking it seriously (as they have a chance to improve Zimbabwe's image)??

Thanks in advance.

I think all of the matches are free entry so you'd imagine the grounds would have some sort of a crowd.
