100%, I told u guys- Bennets, Saul, Welch, Bawa are proper batsmen. They just need to play a high standard of cricket, preferably with a senior batsman at the other end and these guys will blossom. Its the mental side that needs work. I think they learnt a lot from watching the 35 year old opener being 20 off 60 and then making 140 odd at a run a ball. If you've got the skills u can always catch up. That's a proper world class seam attack that would make pro batsmen pay attention and our two openers were right up for it. Welch made his customary 20-30. He's got a slow learning curve for someone with that much ability.

How can the game be viewed in India ?
Think someone mentioned the other day the streams aren’t available in India mate. You’ll need to get a VPN and watch on ICC or Sky YT.
Ohh damn ..I really got excited reading some of the comments here ..how crisply our boys are hitting the ball even though it's only for short period

Yeah the two Pakistanis that opened the bowling in particular were dynamite. Our lads will have never faced bowling that quick before today. They don’t look intimidated at all.

We’ll probably end up bundled out very cheaply here, but as others have said there were enough great shots early on to inspire confidence.

Also the first twenty overs today we bowled beautifully and fielded perfectly.

This is going to end in a drubbing, but I reckon positives to take.

We could be favourites to win the Plate if we end up there

Theyre going to have to pick Zvinoera next game. Will be interesting who sits out.

Commentators said he was ruled out today with that injury.

Only weak link so far seems to be Makoni. Surely Wolhuter is worth a go instead, or give Taruvinga the experience.

That Makoni kid does not know how to bat, not foot-work, just the whole batting stance is awfully wrong. Is he in the team for his batting? Chirwa who bowls is light year ahead of Makoni.

The problem is that against a good bowling attack our batting realistically ends at 5. That's just not enough depth at this level. I'm interested to see how Chirwa does now. Already he looks like he has a bit of time, he's obviously never been considered as a batsman and yet he's got time on the ball, you can't buy that. He started at 9 and yet should bat at 6. That's somebody not paying attention.

I will definitely be watching Pakistan against India or England. That will be good to watch.

Lol he’s in the team because of his father/uncle!!!
Tbf he has a good record in school cricket apparently.
Looks completely out of sorts in this tournament though. Needs to sit out the next game

Chirwa can bat, yes a good batter always has time to play his shots, never gets hurried into shots. That poor kid Makoni, he can not bat.
