Some real negative bowling there by Ireland in the last couple of overs but it looks like it will pay off. Weather doesn't look promising

Big covers on unfortunately. Doesn't look good.

Ireland's gamesmanship in the last couple of overs could be the difference.

Burl loudly screaming 'WHAT THE FUCK HARRY' whilst Tector went down with cramp with Zimbabwe 1 behind DLS score as the rain starts to come down.
If they don't clip that in the highlights I'm pissed.
So game over or is they a chance for play

Raza had to go after Adair in that over

I'll be disappointed if Zim lose this, with Madande and Evans still to come I think Zimbabwe had the upper hand.

SZ we can't drop Evans, his batting lower down the order is heavily underestimated and it is very much needed for Zimbabwe. In addition to that he bowled well today.

The problem is they can’t go back on until it stops raining, they can stay on if it’s raining a little bit but unless it’s stopped they won’t go back on.

I think a reduced game suits us, Burl & Raza have their eyes in but I always felt like a wicket wasn’t far away, so a shorter chase probably suits us imo.

Just need to get back out there but it doesn’t look great

I think we need Larry back in the side so it's either Ngarava, Nyauchi or Evans to make way. I don't really mind which, but Ngarava bowled really nicely and Nyauchi is useful for the first hour of swing. Shame we can't name the team after the toss! Bowling first, I'd have Nyauchi over Evans. But bowling second I'd go the other way around.
Evans didn't look like taking a wicket again today. Neither did Wellington. I think Chats and Mavuta gives us a bit more potency. We really miss Blessing though.

Forecast doesn't look promising at all and it'll be going dark too. I'll be surprised if they get back on.

Shame, we were really close. Some antics by Ireland to waste time and some cynical wide bowling at the end probably the difference.

Our batting in this format is in a good place. Everyone made a start today, Kaia, Ervine, Ballance, Raza, Burl. Add Williams. All we are missing is 1 opener and our ODI team would be in a really strong place.
