Dion Myers out for a mammoth 179(198) Sr of 90 odd what a player. His average should be in the 50s now thats Andy Flower territory. Is he better in red ball cricket perhaps.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

Mavuta always does himself a disservice by not putting a bigger price on his wicket. He's a decent bat

Looking forward to watching Evans. Haven't seen him bat for a year now

Oh if anyone is interested watch Frost's catch at point in the 50 over to dismiss Solly.
You won't see a better grab. Jonty Rhodes stuff.

Surprised they didn't get lost.
Must be the first domestic game Mutendira has ever watched. If they watched MW he'd have opened their eyes finally.

Vincent Masekesa had a great day of leg spin today.
Probably the best I've seen him bowl.

Most definitely bowled better than Mavuta, some vital big scalps.

Masekesa looks like he has reinvented himself as an all rounder or Mangongo trusts him to come in earlier in the order at least.

Great wickets too.

I see Zolsky is responding to tweets on Adam Theo's X account.
Why is St John's a white school? I doubt it's predominantly white. Run mostly by whites, sure. Influential successful blacks on the board because there's institutional racism at government level and they run interference so boys of all colours can receive a decent education. They're there on merit, but they're only necessary because the government doesn't like whites.
The very institutional racism that made the likes of Mutendira go "oh woe is me" when in actual fact he wasn't good enough to make the team.
Institutional racism is alive and well but entirely acceptable now.

For personal growth and to prove something I'd love the black community to build one elite school. Just one. After 40 years of independence and billions upon billions of stolen money not enough pride to build ONE good school
Don't even use private funds like we do. Use looted government money. Not the tiniest bit of personal financial sacrifice required. Just build ONE top school with grounds and staff that works well.
I'll lower the bar. Rescue Prince Edward, the last remaining government school with good facilities that can be rescued. Every single other great old government school with proud heritage is fucked beyond recognition.

Mutendira coaches at St John's because the whites pay a living wage, not for any other reason.  He coaches a white team because the blacks have little interest in cricket and/or the whites there appear to be better at cricket. In general they appear to be better at cricket at the 5 schools where there are any whites at all, and yet are completely under represented when occasionally an age group side is selected. Thats decades of institutional racism in every sport that has sent us to the bottom of the pile when we used to hold our own in most sports at age group level and beyond. They give the sport up after school because they know what's in store for them.
What a nerve to dare talk about institutional racism!! How can any of them do that with a straight face, it's a sick joke and they know it.
It's so bad that they don't believe there is such a thing as racism against whites, in fact it's actually our national sport...and they're good at it

Mutendira also coaches first team because he got De Grandhomme removed as coach. Showed the school that he had a higher level certificate. Not sure Degrandhomme even had one or where Mutendira got his. They only caved because they knew what was coming if they didn't.
The huge threat of "the card" was more than enough.
In fairness Mutendira is an ok coach and Degrandhomme was bone idle so it wasn't a bad swap, but he has some deep rooted issues that are mostly only in his head.
For many years as an age group coach and selector he's shown prejudice and bias, as did most (but not all) white coaches and selectors before him, but that doesn't make it right. Imagine the clarity if he ever accepts he didn't make it on merit. The clarity when he sees how many white players' careers have been snuffed out without a thought. That book is 10 times thicker than the other one.

Let's not forget at age group level and beyond there have also been white coaches and selectors that have also felt obliged to select blacks ahead of better white players to fulfill the obligation. Guilty of racism against their own kind , and spineless.
I can cite multiple instances but that's a big can of worms.
