 Seriously? If anything, these days, he might want to represent Bangladesh :). Nice way to put the names otherwise.

I would give a break to Coventry, as a wake up call before the SA series. He was playing way too atrociously in the last match. Was lucky to have survived that long. I'll have Chibhabha at 3 instead. Demoting him from opening to no.8 was not a good choice in first place.

Mutizwa's shot too was inexplicable, but he needs more chances, and if Taibu is not available, he has to be there. So, still going with 4 bowlers, tough call on Mpofu.

Masakadza
Vermeulen
Chibhabha
Taylor
Matsi
Chigumbura
Mutizwa
Waller
Price
Cremer
Jarvis

Probably, skipper Prosper Utseya and Mark Vermeulen will be fit for the 4th ODI. Not sure about Tatenda Taibu though. But I heard that he might miss the remaining matches of Bangladesh series for injury.

If fit, Mark Vermeulen certainly deserves a place in the lineup after the batting failure of Zimbabwe.

1. Hamilton Masakadza
2. Mark Vermeulen
3. Charles Coventry
4. Brendan Taylor
5. Malcolm Waller
6. Stuart Matsikenyeri
7. Elton Chigumbura
8. Prosper Utseya/Justice Chibhabha
9. Raymond Price
10. Christopher Mpofu
11. Kyle Jarvis

Very insightful anusha. Thanks.
One thing is clear though: Brandan Taylor is not the saviour we have all propagated him out to be. The move to make him open in the last game was particularly ill advised. Clearly it was designed to play him into form but it backfired badly; and reduces Chamu Chibhabha's role into what exatly: that of specialist bowler? Surely it cant be anything else since the guy is clueless against spin.
I would love to get more depth in the batting (Oh, how we miss Sean Williams!) and maybe get a second look at Forster Mtizwa
