Heath Streak. Top bowler, brilliant fielder, and batting good enough to get a test ton. Bangladesh's gain is certainly Zimbabwe's loss..

Made me write my very first e-mail in English, to John Ward's Zim cricket newsletter, suggesting Zim should make him open in ODIs with the licence to just hit it. John was nice enough to answer me, saying it might be good idea, but of course the powers that be never paid attention -- some things don't change ...

Blignaut played in the wrong era he would have been a very very very lethal batsman in t2o .odi strike rate 106 it would be 170 for t20 . There r some highlights of his 50 vs Aussie in bulawayo he smashed mc grath ,lee, and dizee he didn't care who was bowling . I'm lucky to have seen him live at hsc during the stanbic bank pro 20 he smashed a six into the tennis courts and another that bounced of the roof of the pavilion .
