Finally, we've got some youth.
You know, for all the jip Chari has been getting, I'm going to throw him a bone here and say he's done damn well.
Facing the South Africans and doing well was a massive sign (for me) that maybe, just maybe, he could be moulded into a half decent opening batter in the longer format.
I'm not totally against his inclusion in this T20 squad neither, to be honest.
Great seeing Ives, LAKE?!

and Mashinge in. Ryan Murray could solve the keeping conundrum

decent young squad. good to see Malcolm Lake in the squad..hopefully these youngsters are willing to stick around after the t20 and play some first class whenever it starts..Malcolm Lake is a real talent who can go on to have a long career for Zim if he puts in the hours and gets in the team

Are we sending only a 13 man squad? Or are two / three names missing in this list?
Both Lake and Banda have a couple of 50s to show for any significant quality cricket they have played in the last year and a half. We'll only know if they are good enough at this level once we see them in action.
Chapungu probably deserves a go after playing almost the whole of last season's matches in T20 mode (and getting some success). Lot of responsibility on Moor, Chari and Shingi, and hope they come good.
Would be great to watch the progress made by Mavuta, Murray, Mashinge and Ives. Ives is probably not made for T20s from what we saw in the U19 CWC. He is an accumulator, and does not have the power to force runs, but let us see how he goes. Would have preferred Keefe over Ives from what we saw earlier (for T20s). Not sure if he was available though.
Is George Banda related to Lovemore?

'Africa' squad?
Looking at that list I'd call it Africa/England 11.
Rugby has the sables, we can call those guys the marbles.
