Tarisai Musakanda Fan Club

Post by brmtaylor.com admin »

He's got what it takes. I'm a fan.

No matter what happens from this point onwards in this innings, you can tell Musakanda is a special talent for the one simple reason that he doesn't look timid. Often we pick a batsman and you know they are going to struggle... they are tentative, they play and miss, they look completely out of place, they show no intent, etc. Musakanda is none of those things.

Here's to a long and successful career! :D

Glad he made a good start. It has been nice to have a real prospect coming through.

Yeah Musakanda is perhaps the most talented batsman I've seen out of Zimbabwe. He has the ability but more than that, he seems to bat with intelligence. I've long said Zimbabwe dont play smart cricket, Musakanda is a welcome change.

Excited to see Burl as well.

Seeing Musakanda play today gave me hope and i strongly believe with a fit and healthy Ryan Burl we have a shot a winning games. Add Nyauchi as our quick we should have a long world cup .

What is the word on Ryan Burl. Is he still injured or is he ready to play again?

Never seen him play, but with a 40+ FC average he's already among the Zim upper echelon of batsmen.

Masakanda looks good. You can't judge PJ on that shot, that happens to a few decent guys, but I agree he should be middle order if possible.

Count me in! For someone who had been deprived of game time for quite a while he looked to have got his act together and responded well to the pressure, considering there were so many factors like being a debut game, series final..surely part of a rare breed of players this guy, sincerely hoping that he wouldn't go astray like few of his peers..quite odd that he got his cap from a guy who would soon be competing for his place.
