Zimbabwe Cricket Board has always came off with some aggressive decisions whenever they lost against the associate Afghanistan

1) Stephen Mangongo was fired for his poor show. First, Sereis Draw Against Afghanistan 2-2 in home, who visted first time in Zimbabwe. Second, Complete White Wash in Bangladesh 3-0 in Test & 5-0 in Odis

2) Vusi Sibanda dropped in midway in 2014 sereis against Afghans

3)Elton Chigumbura was removed from Captaincy in 2016
, after lots of disappointment and now he is benched.

4) Hamilton Masakadza was also fired from captaincy 2016

5) Kenyon Ziehl was removed from Zimbabwe convener of selectors.

6)Dave Whatmore got Axed

7) Zimbabwe Sports Minister Makhosini Hlongwane is worried about Zimbabwe 's Performance against Afghanistan

At present, Zimbabwe are again down by 0-2 in a 5 match odi sereis against the same opposition i,e Afghanistan. Next match loss, means another sereis loss....

Whats comming next......?

Is it time for Taibu & Streak ??? ...... Well, Ntini is always safe for his speaking ability in Media

There probably won't be any immediate consequences, but down the track it just gets more grim. The odd win here or there is just not good enough and we should be beating Afghanistan at least 4-1 in these 5 game series not losing every time.

Tavengwa Mukuhlani, ZC Chairman hates loosing against Afghanistan, he threw away Whatmore for such reason :)

Realistically, I don't think that there should be any punishments meted out.

Afghanistan are a hands down stronger cricketing nation than Zim in every regard now. It's time now that this is accepted. It isn't the coaches' fault!

You mean they were weak in 2014 & in 2015 ?

In 2014 they beat Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2014, made Sri Lankan team sweat to win a match against them in World Cup 2015

How about firing all the administration? As this whole mess is solely their fault.

I think one must not forget our decent performances in the tri-series last year when pondering such questions.

Of course not. They were a good side then, and have got better since. However, at that stage they were new, and Zim thought that they should by rights be beating Afghanistan. That has since proved conclusively to be a fallacy.

Not sure there are many consequences. Everybody already knows that Zimbabwe is weaker than many associates.
