Regis Chakabva at present is in good form. He can perform better at the top, as he has better technique required to counter spin in Sri Lanka

Hamilton Masakadza is finished. Raza played lot of cricket in sub continent and he can bowl some useful off breaks, suitable for Sri Lankan Pitches.

Mpofu should play in place of Chatara, as he has got experience in bowling such condition.

Tino Mawoyo putting up a performance that may as well see him walk into test side.

Picking Chari & Mawoyo will be a major worst decision by Selectors

Chari can keep working on his game but Mawoyo is the best test opener we have. And our persistence with Mire opening in the short formats, clearly shows that we are lacking in that department. Mawoyo seems to be in good nick and it being a one off test there is not much room to experiment. May as well go with experience. Kunje is certainly one for the future, he should clearly be in the A side set up.

Kunje 's A team experience is successfully over, time to give him debut cap against the Lankans to open the batting with Chibhabha.

Mawoyo is too slow, he plays lots of balls and scores less, his time is over now.Time to try performing youths

Mawoyo with a century today. i still back him.. based on current form i would back him. what happened to Chisoro?i think he gets more variation than Welly. i would also chuck in Mire as the second pace bowler because i believe he can bowl around the late 130s for an extended period of time and he can bat. he also has a bouncer which can cause problems. the other guys had no venom the last time we played sri lanka.

i would go with
Chamu
Mawoyo
Musakanda
Raza
Ervine
Williams
PJ
Mire
Cremer
Chisoro
Chatara
