P Masvaure is overweight and will not even pass the fitness tests for this years franchise cricket.

There are quite a few names of young players mentioned, now we have to make sure we keep them. Paying them rookie contracts of US$300 per month is not going keep many.

Trevor Garwe also bowls at an aggressive pace, he's one to keep an eye on. Certainly they must be paid well and trained professionally though, how can Prince, a professional cricketer who had promise not only cos of his bowling but batting too get that fat?

Haha.

Along with decent money, a succesful national side will keep them around. What is the point of working your butt off to qualify for a national side that is getting walloped and get poorly paid at the same time. Money and success will stop the procession of our young players to county cricket.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes
