Steyn's Zim roots

http://www.sport24.co.za/Cricket/CSA-sa ... n-20110808 says Steyn's family have roots in Zim and he often goes to Zim on holidays...any truth in this?

He would have been a useful addition to the zim squad of 15 if he chose zim cricket.

We were talking about that when we I read it and I saw his tweet to congratulate Zim, which I thought was cool.

LOL. We have a few statesmen here, "sillymid" is one; backing our guys anytime. I believe in them too. Steyn is #1 bowler in Test cricket, its really heart warming to receive such comments, wish him all the success.

Both of his parents are Rhodesian ie they left before 1980. My dad has occasional email contact with Steyn Snr
